Todd Long

Todd Allen Long, 55 of Bartlesville, Oklahoma died suddenly on August 6, 2021, at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Todd was born on September 29, 1965, the son of Fred A. Long and Patricia A. Parker-Long. Todd attended school for a short time in Caney, Kansas, Wichita, Kansas, Marion, Kansas. He attended trade school, becoming a master welder, and began travelling all over the United States with his work. Todd took great pride in his craft. Most recently working for Big G Steel out of Texas. On July 25, 2013, Todd married Angie Thomsen in Emporia, Kansas.

Todd loved being outdoors, fishing, hiking, rock hunting, and searching for artifacts. He had a gifted eye for finding great treasures, and it gave him such joy. He loved being with his friends and family, and he was always eager to help someone. Todd had a tireless energy for life. He talked with a big energy, worked with a big energy, played with an even bigger energy, and loved fiercely. It was hard to know Todd and not be affected in some way. He will be missed by many, forgotten by few.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Patricia Long and his beloved companion, Patch.

He is survived by wife, Angie, his “Angel”, children, Levi, Myah, Natalee, Kylee, and Kyrsten; grandchildren, Marlee, Jaxson, Nelli, and Jasper Lee; brother, Darren Long of Independence; sisters, Debbie Long of Caney, Stacey Pederson and Tracey Long, both of Marion, Kansas; and hoards of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Todd’s life will be held at Fawn Creek Cemetery on Saturday, September 25th at 10:00 AM, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved parents. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial contribution be made in Todd’s name to the “Todd Long Memorial Fund 9102”. Memorials can be made at any Arvest Bank location.
