Roy Neil Elliott- husband, grandfather, friend, and father, passed away Saturday, October 17th, 2021 at his family home in Niotaze, Kansas. He was 74 years old and a friend to many.

He was born March 27, 1943 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He graduated from Carlsbad Highschool in 1966. Roy moved on to an apprenticeship as an ironworker journeyman, where he assisted in a series of construction jobs throughout the New Mexico and the West Texas area. Roy then moved on to become an ironworker and later got promoted to a supervisor position and assisted in the construction of the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas. In 1987, Roy moved to Southeast Kansas to start in the oil business, where he met his loving wife Deidra Kay. Roy then went on to be the owner and operator of China Black Oil Well Services, a business in which he dedicated over 33 years of his life too. Roy spent his free time helping others, and caring for family and livestock on the Elliott Farm.

His hobbies included working with horses, oil and geological work as well as coffee shop story telling.

Roy Elliott is survived by his wife Deidra Elliott, sons: Joe Elliott, Cole Elliott, and Buddy Elliott and daughter Elena Elliott.

The Funeral Service will be held at 900 S. Ridgeway at the Cornerstone Church in Caney KS at 10:00am, Tuesday, October 26th, 2021.
