Margie Deen Henderson, Caney, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 15th, 2021, in Independence Kansas. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 19th at Sunnyside Cemetery at 2:00pm.

Margie was born on November 21nd, 1933, in Ashdown, Arkansas. She was the daughter of John and Lona (Swan) Hinton. She graduated Ashdown High School in 1951. After high school she attended business college for bookkeeping. She married the love of her life, Howard Henderson in 1955. Margie traveled the world with Howard and the United States Army for 23 years from San Diego to Germany.

She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in Caney.

Preceding her in death were her parents and son Joseph Henderson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Howard and 3 sons: John (Betty) Henderson, James (Kelley) Henderson and Jason (Lindsay) Henderson; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
