Bill went to work for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, OK in 1961, where he eventually retired. Bill also find enjoyment hunting, gardening and raising Limousin Cattle, and chickens on his farm west of Caney. After retirement, Bill and Evelyn joined a camping club where they travelled the United States and truly enjoyed the friendships they made over the years. You could always find Bill sporting a pair of suspenders or hat that was a conversation starter. In Bill’s later years, he spent his time moving dirt and landscaping the farm.

Dear Evelyn and Family: You have my deepest and most sincere sympathies in your loss of your husband and father. Psalms147:3 says of Almighty God: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds." Pray for the comfort only Almighty God can give and in time, He will heal your broken heart. Also keep in mind and heart the hope we have of seeing our loved ones again in the resurrection 'of the righteous and the unrighteous' (Acts 24:15). They will live on a beautifully restored earth where there will never again be sickness, sorrow or death. (Revelation 21:3, 4; Psalms 37:11, 29; Isaiah 33:24; Isaiah 11:6-9). At that time all the broken hearts will be healed.... 💔..... 💖
